Shirlington Running Club
For healthy people with social interests! This thriving group meets once a week for a 5K run before enjoying Happy Hour at Capital City Brewery. They are also sponsored by The Energy Club.
Puppy Parties
Did you know there was a section at Shirlington Dog Park specifically for the little ones? Help socialize your newfound love to other puppies and people in a nice, safe environment.
Washington Pug Group
As the name indicates, this group is for fellow Pug lovers. This
group meets once a month at the Shirlington Dog Park.
DC Metro English Bulldog Group
This group gets English Bullies together from around the DC metro
area for a monthly play date in the Shirlington area.
Shirlington Social Club
No experience necessary! Just bring yourself for a good time! Meet
other Shirlington residents and take advantage of all that Shirlington has to offer.
Shirlington Military Club
This group is for members of all branches of the military, active or
retired, as well as their families.
Shirlington Volunteers
You don’t have to look very far to see where you can help. Join forces with other Shirlington residents and help give back to the community.
“Lunch in Shirlington” Bike Ride
Whether you’re an avid bike rider or just looking for an occasional ride, you can join this group to meet fellow enthusiasts. This group meets once a week in front of Shirlington Library for a 16 mile loop on the bike trails of Arlington. Finish off with lunch in Shirlington.
Mom’s Club
Expecting, newly blessed, and experienced mothers are encouraged to join this group. Whether it’s for a break, support, or even just to socialize, this is the group for you.
Games Club
Do you start strategizing at the site of a chess board or dream of world domination when you think of Risk or Monopoly? Then this club is definitely for you! Hosted once a month at Johnny Rockets.
Jazz and R&B Musicians
Do you wish you could meet fellow musicians and vocalists and just jam? Well now’s your chance… perhaps we’ll see you play at Extra Virgin some time
